Baldwin Heights Elementary in Top 100 For Box Top Collection
Baldwin Heights Elementary students recently watched a special concert. Principal Michael Walsh did a "concert" for the kids because Julie Oddy's 3rd grade class collected the most box tops and labels for the 1st three months of school. The class chose to have Mr. Walsh sing "call me maybe" in a dress and wig. During that time, more than 43,000 box tops were collected by the school, resulting in a check for more than $4,300 that will be used to buy library books, school supplies, playground equipment and more.   Baldwin Heights Elementary is now ranked #5 in the state out of 3,193 Michigan schools and it is #78 out of 88,672 in the nation!! That places the school officially in the top 100 schools in the Box Top collection!!
