Greenville woman recovering from crash with garbage truck | News

SIDNEY TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) -- A Greenville woman is recovering after a crash involving a garbage truck.

Montcalm County deputies say the garbage truck was stopped in the northbound lane of Derby Road a little south of Lakeside Drive just before 9 Thursday morning.

That's when the 41-year-old woman was unable to stop her SUV on the slushy roads and slid into the back of the truck. Another car behind her couldn't stop in time, either, rear-ending her vehicle.

The Greenville woman was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No one else was hurt.
