GREENVILLE, Mich. (WZZM) - A one-month old infant died Thursday in Greenville, even after efforts of CPR by the child's father and emergency crews.
The Greenville Department of Public Safety was called to the home in the 300 block of W. Grove Street Thursday morning on reports of an infant not breathing. When they arrived they found the infant's father performing CPR while being coached by Montcalm County Dispatchers on the phone. Public Safety officers took over until Montcalm County EMS arrived and they continued life-saving efforts. The child was later pronounced deceased.
The investigation remains open pending the results of the autopsy and review by the Montcalm County Prosecutors office.
