State Rep. Rick Outman will sponsor an agriculture town hall meeting on Friday, June 29 at the Montcalm County 4-H Fairgrounds in Greenville.
Joining Outman, R-Six Lakes, for the agriculture forum will be state Rep. Kevin Daley, R-Lum, chair of the House Agriculture Committee; state Sen. Judy Emmons, R-Sheridan, who serves on the Senate Agriculture Committee; and state Sen. Joe Hune, R-Hamburg Township, chair of the Senate Agriculture Committee.
Speakers for the event, which begins at 10 a.m. in the Ash Building at 8784 W. Peck Road, are Bill Bobier of the Michigan Department of Agriculture; Rebecca Park from Michigan Farm Bureau; Mary Kelpinski of Michigan Pork Producers; Ben Kudwa with the Michigan Potato Industry Commission; and Phil Korson, president of the Cherry Marketing Institute.
